Bug Fixes Galore
The free July 2023 update for The Sims 4 has a long list of bug changes that don’t seem to end. This is true for both the main game and a wide range of add-ons.
The fixes may seem easy, but they will make a big difference in how fun it is to play The Sims 4.
You’ll learn how to make sure your Sim washes their hands at the closest sink after going to the bathroom and how to get rid of the “Items Removed” message if you own everything in the lot. There are a lot of bug changes to go through, but they are all tied together with a bow to make The Sims 4 even more fun.
New Eye Customizations
With The Sims 4‘s free update in July 2023, you’ll be able to choose from a number of new eye styles. There are now nine new eyebrow styles, several new eye presets that look like they came from East Asia, and four new eye bags you can put under your eyes.
The Sims has always been about customizing things as much as possible. And the game is very open to people from all kinds of backgrounds, countries, and lifestyles. With the new options for your Sim’s eyes, you can really make your Sim look however you want.
Updated Patterns
There are new color designs on some walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and fences. A lot of the new colors go well together.
If you want your walls and ceilings to look great together, you’ll be able to find a great match.
There are three walls with different patterns that have been changed. You’ll find more than a dozen new choices for wood floors, as well as stone and brick floors.
With all of these new patterns, it will be much easier to arrange your home the way you want.
Hairstyles In The Sims 4
The free July update for Sims 4 adds hairstyles that are important to Native Americans. There are now three new hairstyles to choose from, with frames that are both manly and feminine. They can be used for Sims of all ages, from babies to adults.
All of the styles show how important flowing hair is in Indigenous societies. You can choose from Double Braid, Single Braid, or Lengthened Hair. All three choices reach to the middle of the back of the Sim you choose.
Three Sisters Chili
In Native American culture, corn, beans, and squash are known as “the three sisters.” The new cooking recipe in The Sims 4‘s free July update is based on this idea. All people can now get Three Sisters Chili.
The “three sisters” used in the dish grow best in the same plot. You’ll make Three Sisters Chili on the grill. With all the items you have, it shouldn’t be too hard.
It’s a Level 1 Cooking Skill meal, so even Sims who aren’t very good at cooking should be able to make it.
Customize Your Ceilings
Ceiling customization is one of the most-anticipated parts of The Sims 4‘s free July update. We’ve only been able to decorate our floors and walls with wallpaper, paint, and other designs for a long time.
You no longer have to play Breakout Game with the walls lowered because you hate how the ceiling looks compared to the other patterns in your building.
Now, with the update, you can also change how the ceiling looks. In the Floors part of Build Mode, you can choose between Floors and Ceilings.
If you click on Ceilings, you can now add a pattern to the whole ceiling, to individual tiles, or to a room. This is true for all apps.
Free Cam In Build Mode
In the patch notes for the free July update, it says quickly that Build Mode now has Free Camera. That short statement doesn’t show how exciting this is for all of you Sims fans out there.
Originally, you could only get Free Camera after building a great house, leaving Build Mode, and moving in with a family. No longer do you have to go through all of those steps.
If you press Tab while in Build Mode, you can switch to Free Camera and take screenshots of your amazing design.
